Explanation of facility fees
Akanishta KBC is a registered charity (no 1125213), and the Course Fee we request at some of our classes and courses is to help us cover the costs of running these events. Any surplus proceeds are used to make Buddha’s teachings, the Dharma, available to a greater number of people across a greater area through the provision of Akanishta Centre’s education programmes and public service.
In this way we do not charge for the Dharma itself, just for a contribution towards the facilities we provide. The Teachers and organisers of the classes give their time freely out of a wish to benefit others.
