Day Course: 'A Positive Outlook for a New Year' - Saturday 4th Feburary

10.30am to 4pm, includes vegetarian lunch

“All living beings have the same basic wish to be happy and avoid suffering, but very few people understand the real casues of happiness and suffering. We generally believe that external conditions such as food, friends, cars and money are the real causes of happiness and as a result we devote nearly all our time and energy to acquiring them”. Geshe Kelsang Gyatso, Transform your Life.

Buddha taught that happiness and suffering are states of mind and so their causes cannot be found outside the mind. The mind has the power to create all pleasant and unpleasant objects. Therefore if we change our mind we change our world. During this course we will learn how we can make our daily life more peaceful, meaningful and happy simply by changing our mind.

Make a positive start to the coming year. Please feel free to arrive from 10am onwards to enjoy some refreshments.
