Meditation and Modern Buddhism in Cheltenham, Stroud & Cirencester

Akanishta Kadampa Meditation Centre welcomes everyone to meditate, if you are just beginning to practice and those who have experience of meditation over many years. Everyone can share the inner peace and happiness that arises from mindfulness of the breath and many other positive objects of our concentration.

Classes are held in an informal setting with the majority of those attending sitting on chairs although meditation cushions are available if these are preferred. Sessions offer time to listen to Buddhist teachings and an opportunity to ask any questions. Refreshements are avaliable before and after the class.

Feel free to email or phone 01242 269807 for any more information.

Everyone is very welcome, you don't need to be a Buddhist to attend or visit the Centre. Our aim is to provide a peaceful enviroment and help people find inner peace, through meditation and the practical advice Buddha taught to help people with everyday life. Click here for meditation classes in your area.
